Does Reddit contain NSFW? ›

To view mature and Not Safe for Work (NSFW) communities on the mobile app, there are a few settings you'll need to enable. Log in and go to your Settings. Under the Preferences tab, toggle Show mature (18+) content to on.

After using the platform ourselves and reading reviews from parents, we recommend that children be at least 16 before using Reddit.

Disabling the NSFW Filter on Reddit

On an Android, tap your profile picture in the Reddit app, go to Settings, then tap the switch next to "Show NSFW content." On an iPhone, go to Settings > Reddit and tap the switch next to "Show NSFW Content (18+)."
