Equity Estates is a Luxury Residence Investment Fund™ that offers the best kind of returns—both on capital and life. Equity Estates lets you invest in multimillion dollar vacation homes with great potential to appreciate—and be appreciated.
Investors enjoy a portfolio of residences spanning over 25 countries, providing the best way to vacation while building long-term value in a diversified portfolio of real estate assets.
We take great pride and care in our homes & investors: we don’t rent our properties to the public, we meticulously maintain and stock all of our properties, and we attend to every need of our investors’ vacations through our multi-touch concierge program.
Through our investment model, divestiture proceeds are disbursed first to our investors, until 100% of their initial investment is returned, and then 80% of the appreciation thereafter.
Our Story
The concept for Equity Estates came together in 2004, after a conversation at a wedding sparked the idea of a “friendshare”— Beautiful vacation homes, purchased and enjoyed by friends, backed with rigorous fiscal management, a clear path to liquidity and a formalized way to share nights.
After two years of research and feedback, Equity Estates was launched. Nearly two decades later, we’ve raised more than $250 million in Capital Contributions and deployed it across multiple Funds while facilitating over 20,000 dream vacations in the process.

Fiduciary Responsibilities
Since 2006, our proven model has been designed to focus on two primary areas of accountability: The long-term financial health of our portfolio of luxury residences and the ease of use and assured quality of our investor’s vacation experiences. Each Fund has dedicated resources–from Managing Members and Investor Councils to operational teams as well as regular 3rd party audits, all designed to assure fiduciary responsibility.
Full Comprehensive Audit
We are voluntarily audited by top-rated accounting firm, RSM, to ensure the Managing Member has used proceeds as promised, and annually appraise each property in the Equity Estates portfolio. This information is regularly shared with our investors.
Guaranteed Liquidity
Each Fund is scheduled to liquidate the residence portfolio approximately 10 years after it closes, which leaves you with no chance of getting “stuck.” You’ll benefit from a liquidation waterfall that may return 100% of your capital contribution and the lion’s share of any appreciation.
Aligned Interests
We don’t succeed until you do. Our investors share in the appreciation, which could result in them traveling for free or even getting paid to travel for an entire decade. We do not mark up shared costs, nor do we seek profit from annual expenses.
Established Track Record
Equity Estates originated the equity destination club model and was the first Private Equity Luxury Residence Investment Fund. We have been successfully delivering excellence in both investment and vacations since 2006.
